Remake Policy

In case of remakes we will require that you:

return the print(s) or material(s) to be remade,
return your original order form and/or instructions,
enclose a copy of the invoice and
provide clear instructions on what you would like to have corrected.

Conditions that Do Not Qualify for Remakes:

When color balance and density meet our lab standards and no guide print was included, but later was returned "to match."
Any "Print Regardless" order. See below.

Print Regardless:

The experience technicians at River City Silver are capable of following the most precise instructions. If you request, they are also capable of using their "best judgement" in printing your order. There is, however, no "right" color balance or "correct" cropping, etc. These are personal preferences that vary considerably among individuals. If no instructions or guide prints accompany your order, then we must print as we believe is best. In such cases, your order will be printed on a "Print Regardless" basis and may not qualify for a no-charge remake.

Negatives or slides that are severely over- or underexposed, or show a color distortion or physical damage, will normally be returned unprinted. If such originals cover events which cannot be rephotographed, we can print them on a "Print Regardless" basis. Customers must understand that results will fall short of normally acceptable professional standards. No remakes are available.

Reproduction Notes:

Some fabrics, facial make-up, paints, ink pigments and clothing laundered in brighteners fluoresce and do not reproduce on film as the eye sees them. This problem can sometimes be helped by using UV filtration over the light source (not the lens) in the studio or over the copy lights in the lab.

When you place any of your film, prints, slides, negatives, art work (including frames or framing materials) or other materials with River City Silver for handling, this constitutes an agreement by you that we are not liable for any damage or loss. Every precaution will be taken in handling your order with extreme care. In the event of loss or damage of exposed film, River City Silver will replace a like amount of unexposed film and processing. Except for such replacement, the acceptance of the film, print, slide, art (including frame/framing material) or negative is without other warranty or liability, and recovery for any incidental or consequential damages is excluded.
